The Senate outcome remained unresolved Tuesday night, but a Democratic House majority would give the party a platform to advance the measures and force votes on the issue

Democrats Take Over Congress, Will Push Abortions Up to Birth and Tax-Funded Abortion

Democrats captured control of both the U.S. House and Senate on Tuesday, giving the party the power to advance legislation that would legalize abortion through all nine months of pregnancy nationwide and force taxpayers to fund killing babies.

In the House, the pro-abortion party needed a net gain of only a handful of seats to flip the chamber from the narrow pro-life Republican majority. Early projections indicated Democrats would secure a working majority, with final margins still being tallied in several competitive districts.

In the Senate, Democrats have secured 51 seats and maybe more depending on the final count in multiple races.

Democrats had already outlined their legislative priorities in a September memo from the Cost-of-Living Healthcare Working Group addressed to pro-abortion Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. The document listed, for the first 100 hours of the new Congress, two abortion measures: the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance Act. ---More...

Missouri Defeats Pro-Life Amendment to Save Babies From Abortions

Missouri voters rejected a constitutional amendment Tuesday that would have repealed the state’s 2024 right to abortion and restored protections for unborn babies.

With 91.1 percent of precincts reporting, “No” led 55.45 percent to 44.55 percent on Amendment 3. The measure would have eliminated the constitutional right to abortion approved by voters two years ago, restricted abortion to cases of medical emergency, fetal anomaly, rape or incest, and limited the rape and incest exceptions to the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

It also would have enshrined a ban on mutilating children with so-called sex change procedures for minors in the state constitution.

The 2024 amendment, which passed with 51.6 percent of the vote, legalized essentially up to birth and overturned Missouri’s abortion ban that took effect after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. ---More...

Virginia Passes Amendment for Right to Kill Babies in Abortions Up to Birth

Virginia voters approved a constitutional amendment Tuesday that embeds a fundamental right to kill babies in abortions up to birth in the state constitution.

With 52.83 percent of precincts reporting, the Associated Press showed “Yes” leading 60.09 percent to 39.91 percent on Question 1. Other early tallies showed a similar margin.

Pre-election models had given the measure better than a 98 percent chance of passage. The pro-abortion side reportedly spent as much as $5 million buy the vote and run ads lying to voters about what the amendment would do.

The amendment establishes that every individual has the fundamental right to so-called reproductive freedom, including abortion. The Commonwealth may regulate abortion in the third trimester, but the amendment allows abortionists to decide that killing babies in late-term abortions is somehow necessary. ---More...

Guam Flips From Democrat to Republican, Pro-Life Candidate Wins Governor’s Race

Republicans flipped the governorship of Guam on Tuesday as Vicente “Tony” Ada, a legislator with a record of supporting pro-life laws on abortion, defeated pro-abortion Democrat Sen. Therese Terlaje.

In unofficial final results released early Wednesday by the Guam Election Commission, Ada is the winner of the close race.

Ada and running mate E.J. Calvo received 15,945 votes (51.45 percent). Terlaje and Sabina Perez received 14,925 votes (48.15 percent).

The Republican ticket’s lead of roughly 1,020 votes ended eight years of Democratic control of Adelup under term-limited Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero. Sen. Therese Terlaje called Ada to concede on behalf of her ticket after the 1:30 a.m. tally, according to the Pacific Daily News.

Results remain unofficial pending certification. ---More...

Democrats’ Agenda of Abortions Up to Birth is Motivating Pro-Life Voters

With an $80 million investment, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America has reached over 10 million voters to remind them of the cost of this election: Life is on the ballot.

SBA, one of the largest pro-life organizations in the country, worked to reach American voters this midterm election cycle in an attempt to bring out the pro-life vote. Through polling, the group found early on that 32% of Republican voters said they would be less enthusiastic about voting if GOP leaders abandoned pro-life policies.

“We’re finding the pro-life GOP base is dismayed that abortions are going up in this country,” Kelsey Pritchard, communications director for SBA, told the Daily Signal. “They’re dismayed that Joe Biden’s mail-order abortion policy has been left in place by the current administration.”

“We’ve found with Republicans not bringing the issue to the forefront, it has been difficult to mobilize life voters,” she continued. ---More...
